I tend to enjoy breakfast but I don’t really care for things like waffles, pancakes, and French toast. I know, I’m weird. I just prefer eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes over the sweet stuff. However, there was this one time I was introduced to Dutch blueberry pancakes and I made an exception. I could not believe how amazing these pancakes tasted and they were made in such a unique way.
After enjoying them for the first time I was resolved to sharing this deliciousness with the world. So, at my church’s annual women’s retreat we decided to make Dutch blueberry pancakes to feed to the masses. Wowser! The ladies who attended the retreat couldn’t stop raving about how good they were!

I made these yummy Dutch blueberry pancakes for a women’s retreat once and they were a massive hit. I found them to be far tastier than just regular old pancakes. The blueberries, if you get them from a farmer’s market, tend to be super plump and juicy and their liquids spill over into the pancake batter. Oh boy, is it ever good! I’m telling you what, the smell of these pancakes cooking in the morning is enough to bring any grumpy-head to the breakfast table.
