(The Aztecs and Mayans were way ahead of the game when chia seeds were a big part of their daily diet.) Packed with amazing nutrients, fiber, and protein, chia seeds are ridiculously good for you and so delicious when you prepare them like this! The seeds absorb when placed in liquid and take on a thick, pudding-like consistency, so what better way to use them than in a pudding?!
As you may have noticed, we have quite a big sweet tooth over here, so anything we can find that’s sweet and delicious and also really healthy gets an A+ in our book. Plus, making a healthy dessert or on-the-go breakfast doesn’t get much easier than this; throw it all in a glass and you’re good!
