Instant noodles are one of the most popular go-to foods among different categories of people. This is not a surprise because they are inexpensive, quick, easy and they can replace any meal throughout the day.
However, in addition to monosodium glutamate (MSG) which is usually the basic ingredient in noodles and which damages the stomach lining, a recent scientific study has confirmed that consumption of instant noodles can damage the digestive system too for many different reasons not only the ones we knew before.
NOODLES MAY TASTE GOOD, BUT THEY ARE NOT GOOD FOR THE STOMACH
Dr. Braden Kuo who works at the Massachusetts General Hospital has decided to figure out what is going on once the instant noodles also known as instant ramen in the US, Korea, and Japan, enter the stomach and go through the digestive tract.
Performing a scientific experiment that was never performed before, Dr. Kuo used a small camera (the size of a pill), to penetrate in the digestive system and stomach of a group of selected candidates for this study.
