Maple Cinnamon Candied Nuts

Yes, you read that right: Maple. Cinnamon. Candied. Nuts. It’s the time of year for all things maple cinnamon, and we couldn’t wait to try this festive twist on an old favorite. We absolutely love candied nuts, especially around the holiday season. They make a great little gift for coworkers and neighbors alike; just fill up a tiny mason jar or decorative baggie, tie a ribbon on it and there you go! If you’re making these to give away, you’ll want to double the batch. A handful for the neighbors, and handful for you, a handful for the other neighbors, another handful for you… you get the idea. These things are addicting!

This recipe is absolutely golden – from the slight crisp on the outside coat of sugar, to the maple cinnamon flavors bursting with each crunchy bite, these are sure to be a new tradition around your home.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups mixed nuts (any nuts will do, we recommend pecans, cashews, almonds, and walnuts)
