Molasses’s Cookie Recipe

When I was a little girl we had this elderly neighbor lady who would make molasses cookies for my family. Come to think of it, that lady scared the crap out me. She was a sweet as pie but she reminded me of the witch from Hansel and Gretel.
Despite all of that, I still ate her molasses cookies. Anyhoo, when this lady passed away, we didn’t get any more cookies, at least not like the ones she would make. So, as an adult, i set off on a search to find a recipe that mimicked hers.
And, I think I’ve found one. This recipe for molasses cookies is seriously easy to follow and bakes up a batch of the best cookies you’ve ever eaten. I love making these cookies during the fall because they make my house smell amazing.

You are going to love these delightful little cookies, I’m tellin’ ya! They are a snap to make and super easy to devour.
Check out what my pals over at The Pioneer Woman had to say about this recipe:
“Spicy Molasses Cookies. Oh my goodness, people. They’re so delightful. Rich, chewy, flavorful…and best of all, when they’re baking, they fill the kitchen with the scent of—are you ready?—apple cider! Trust me—it’s really uncanny.”
Apple cider? Um, yes please!
